You know, it's like pretending to shake someone's hand and getting a shock. Actually, sometimes you really feel an electric shock between people. I've felt it! Touching someone's clothes, their hand, their hair, and suddenly I yell "Wow!" and jump back, haha! Then everyone laughs. I got shocked like that when I was a kid, so it reminds me of that feeling. I never thought there would be an exercise like this in Laughter Yoga. Now I teach it in class. Every time we do it, I watch how people react. Some people jump up really high, some pretend their hand is numb, and some look really surprised. Of course, in the end, everyone laughs a lot. That's what Laughter Yoga is like. One day, one part was (laughing at!). Not laughing at others, but laughing at ourselves. Laughing at ourselves is great! Why not laugh at ourselves? Life is so cute and so sad! You and I may have walked many roads and made many wrong decisions... like choosing the wrong job, the wrong lover, the wrong investments, scolding the wrong people, being impulsive and reckless... When we are young... we have energy but don't know how to do things right. When we are old... we know how to do things right but don't have the energy. Apology Laughter  Yoga class notes: 40 Foundation Exercises I recently joined an online laughter yoga class and learned a super fun "forgiveness laughter" technique. The teacher taught us that the Indian way is to cross your arms, pinch your earlobes with your thumb and index finger, bend over and bow, and then start laughing like crazy. The Western version is even more direct: spread your arms out as if saying "sorry," and then burst into laughter. The first time I did it, I almost laughed until I got a cramp. Imagine a group of people in front of their screens, pinching their ears, bowing, and laughing hysterically – the scene was just too funny! What's even better is that I found this action really has a magical effect. One morning, I accidentally spilled coffee on my husband's computer.
