Topic: 37. Bull's Eye Laughter

Yoga Class Notes: One of 40 Foundation Exercises


Two classmates said:

"Today, let's do the 37th exercise of Laughter Yoga."

Classmate A said: "Huh! But there are only two of us!"

Classmate B said: "Right! Even two people can do it!"

And so, all the imagination began...

With our heads facing the screen—the center of our imaginary circle—and our feet stretching outward like flower petals, we lay on the ground. We took turns speaking and leading. We closed our eyes and started our laughter meditation.

At first, we laughed quietly. Slowly, it got louder. I felt the laughter coming from my belly and spreading through my whole body. During the process, I imagined the laughter shooting like rays of light toward the center, gathering into a ball of energy. It made my body feel light and relaxed.

After we finished, I sat up. I realized my mood was much better, and my mind was clear.

It turns out that even two people can play like this!

Of course, I hope we can try the face-to-face version next time.

瑜珈課筆記：40個基礎練習之一

兩個同學說:

今天我們就來做 大笑瑜珈 第37個練習:

同學A說: 吓! 我們只得兩個人啊!

同學B說: 對! 兩個人都可以呀!

於是乎，一切的想像力來了...

頭向螢幕, 想像的圓心，腳向外伸，像花瓣圍成一圈，躺在地上。你一言我一語, 輪住帶領，我們閉上眼睛開始大笑冥想。一開始是小聲笑，慢慢變大聲，我感覺笑聲從肚子裡冒出來，傳到全身。過程中，想像笑聲像光線一樣射向中心，匯集成一個能量球，讓我覺得身體輕鬆起來。

結束後，我坐起來，發現心情變好，腦袋也清楚了。

原來兩個人都可以這樣玩!

當然，希望下次能試試面對面的版本。

To be honest, I felt a bit strange at first – laughing silly at the screen, could that really have any effect? But with a try-it-and-see attitude, I joined in. In the course, the teacher led us in "Swinging Laughter." Even though it was online, everyone tried to simulate a large circle, imagining holding hands. The teacher demonstrated first, instructing us to make the long vowel sound "Ae...Ae...Aeeeee....." and then slowly move forward towards the screen, as if approaching the center of the circle. The first time I did it, I felt a bit inhibited, my voice was soft, and my movements were stiff. But watching the other students on the screen, everyone was laughing happily, and I gradually relaxed. 12. Magic Fingers Laughter (奇妙手指笑聲) Topic: 12. Magic Fingers Laughter Yoga class notes: 40 Foundation Exercises One day in Laughter Yoga class, I learned a movement called "Magic Laughter." The teacher showed us to hold up both index fingers, and while saying "Aaaay," move the two fingers together and apart three times. On the third time, turn one hand into a "peace" sign while laughing. Then do it again to make two "peace" signs! Finally, extend four fingers on both hands for the last repetition. When doing this movement, I suddenly felt very familiar, as if I had seen a similar movement somewhere before, but I couldn't remember where. I didn't think this movement was childish at all, but found it very interesting and immediately liked it. While doing it, my mood also became cheerful, and I really felt very happy! It felt like going back to childhood, carefree. This "Magic Laughter" really has magic, making me laugh uncontrolla...

21. Generosity Laughter (慷慨的笑聲)

Topic: 21. Generosity Laughter Yoga Class Notes: One of 40 Foundation Exercises I like the "Generous Laugh" because when I do it, I feel a little elegant! Hehe! Hehe! I like the word "elegant"! And I like "generous" too. Like the old people in the picture, a little elegant, a few claps, and then a generous laugh. Practicing the "Generous Laugh" in laughter yoga, I almost spilled my bowl of "imaginary laughter." My left hand holds the air like a bowl, and my right hand sprinkles laughter everywhere like salt, laughing and laughing! Suddenly, I wondered if my neighbors can hear me laughing so loud? I laugh like crazy almost every day at the same time! Will they complain to the management? Or will they suddenly knock on my door one day and ask me: "How can I laugh like you do every day...!" Haha, the "Generous Laugh" is a good way to quickly improve your mood and infect others. Next time you're in a bad mood, try it...
