Topic: 21. Generosity Laughter Yoga Class Notes: One of 40 Foundation Exercises I like the "Generous Laugh" because when I do it, I feel a little elegant! Hehe! Hehe! I like the word "elegant"! And I like "generous" too. Like the old people in the picture, a little elegant, a few claps, and then a generous laugh. Practicing the "Generous Laugh" in laughter yoga, I almost spilled my bowl of "imaginary laughter." My left hand holds the air like a bowl, and my right hand sprinkles laughter everywhere like salt, laughing and laughing! Suddenly, I wondered if my neighbors can hear me laughing so loud? I opened my arms and said, "I belong to everyone," then brought my arms back as if embracing everyone and said, "Everyone belongs to me." After a few rounds, we started replacing words with laughter. You might think it’s a little silly or boring, but let me tell you—it’s definitely not silly or boring. It’s an exercise for the body, mind, and soul. It’s a simple and highly effective activity that doesn’t cost much. Hearing everyone’s laughter blend together online was a wonderful feeling, as if we were truly connected. Seeing others laugh made me happy, and I believe my laughter brought joy to others too. 19. Guru Laughter (笑聲中的頓悟) Topic: 19. Guru Laughter Yoga class notes: 40 Foundation Exercises When I do laugh yoga, I like "Guru Laughter" the most. You know, sometimes we are too serious. We think making mistakes is very bad. This part helps us not think like that! The teacher shows us how to do it. We put one hand on our head and shout, "I learn from my mistakes, ha ha ha!" The sound is silly, but fun. Then, we put the other hand on our head and shout, "I learn from other people's mistakes, ha ha ha!" I put both hands on my head and look at the other people. They do the same. At that moment, I feel relaxed. I also feel free. I understand that everyone makes mistakes. The important thing is to learn from them. We can laugh to feel better. Also, we can learn from ourselves and from other people. When I think like this, making mistakes is not so bad. It can help us grow. So, when I have problems, I remember "Guru Laughter."   18. Silent Laughter (無聲的笑) Topic: 18. Silent Laughter Yoga class notes: 40 Foundation Exercises (Silent Laughing) was one of the funniest exercises in class this week. We had to pretend someone was sleeping next door, and we couldn't wake them up. So, we could only open our mouths wide and make laughing motions, but without making any sound at all. And so, we faced the camera, holding back and laughing silently, quietly covering our mouths! (Silent) It made me think of silent movies, black and white silent movies from the 1920s. And silent movies often have funny scenes, so I thought of Charlie Chaplin. I like Charlie Chaplin's movies because they show that life is full of laughter and tears, a mix of happiness and sadness! Isn't it true? Do you think your life also has about 50% comedy and 50% tragedy?
