Yoga Class Notes: One of 40 Foundation Exercises


That afternoon, I was doing housework again. This is almost my set routine from Monday to Friday (On weekends or holiday, I push all the housework to my husband! Haha!)

I never think housework is a bad job. I enjoy the process and feel good about the finish. A messy place turns into a clean home in a moment, and it looks nice.

But since laughter yoga came into my life, housework has more fun. Even though I do not see housework as bad, my mood sometimes goes wrong, and cleaning feels dull. Why? Feelings are hard to explain!

No matter if I mop the floor, clean windows, put away clothes, or other things, I pretend the items in my hand are microphones. I work and laugh at the same time. The laughter starts, and it turns on my (laugh switch). Haha is like a song, and my moves are the beat. Do I feel like a fool? No, no. I laugh online with over a hundred people each day. If this is foolish, it is (foolish in a good way). Plus, laughing during housework makes the boring tasks feel easy over time, and it turns into a funny game.

32. 大笑家務

瑜珈課筆記：40個基礎練習之一

那天下午，我又在做家務，這幾乎是我每週一至五的指定動作（週六、日把所有家務推給我家男人！哈哈！）

我從來不覺得做家務是一件苦事，我享受那過程，也滿意那完成，一個零零碎碎的畫面，一瞬間變了一個整潔家居，的確令人賞心悅目。

不過，自從我的生活融入了大笑瑜伽，做家務的過程就多了一份樂趣。雖然我不覺得做家務是一件苦事，但情緒偶爾會失靈，清潔過程會有悶悶的感覺，為什麼會這樣？情緒這東西很微妙啊！

但不管我抹地、擦窗、收納衣服等等，假裝手裡的都是擴音器，一邊工作一邊大笑，機器啟動開闢，同時也打開我的（笑聲開關）。哈哈就時歌聲，動作就是節奏，我會感覺自己像個傻瓜嗎？不會，不會，也許我每天在線上和一百幾十人一起大笑，如果這是傻瓜，也（傻得有道理），何況，笑著做家務，平常覺得枯燥的動作，(笑)就讓心情慢慢輕鬆起來，變成了一場有點滑稽的遊戲。

To be honest, I felt a bit strange at first – laughing silly at the screen, could that really have any effect? But with a try-it-and-see attitude, I joined in. 12. Magic Fingers Laughter (奇妙手指笑聲) Topic: 12. Magic Fingers Laughter Yoga class notes: 40 Foundation Exercises One day in Laughter Yoga class, I learned a movement called "Magic Laughter." The teacher showed us to hold up both index fingers, and while saying "Aaaay," move the two fingers together and apart three times. On the third time, turn one hand into a "peace" sign while laughing. Then do it again to make two "peace" signs! Finally, extend four fingers on both hands for the last repetition. When doing this movement, I suddenly felt very familiar, as if I had seen a similar movement somewhere before, but I couldn't remember where. I didn't think this movement was childish at all, but found it very interesting and immediately liked it. While doing it, my mood also became cheerful, and I really felt very happy!   11. Hot Soup Laughter (熱湯笑聲) 11. Hot Soup Laughter One day in an online laughter yoga class, I learned a funny exercise called "Hot Soup Laughter." The teacher said to imagine you just drank a bowl of very hot and spicy soup, so hot that you stick out your tongue. I followed along, sticking out my tongue and shaking my wrists up and down like I was trying to cool my tongue. At first, I felt a little shy, but seeing the other students seriously "cooling" their tongues made me feel more relaxed. The amazing thing was, as I shook my hands and laughed "Ha! Ha! Ha!", I really felt like I had been burned by something spicy. That hot and funny feeling made me laugh louder and louder. This exercise made me realize that laughing can be so simple. With a little imagination and some physical movement, you can turn small things in life into a source of happiness. Next time I drink hot soup, I will definitely remember this "Hot Soup Laughter" and have a goo...
